systems - 20 county and 6 independent city systems. There are also more than
150 private schools in the area. For a complete listing of elementary, middle

Atlanta's Largest Colleges and Universities
Just west of downtown is largest concentration of historically black
colleges in the U.S. - Atlanta University System - which includes Morehouse
College, Spelman College, Morris Brown College and Clark Atlanta University.
Atlanta is also home to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, providing ACC sporting
events in the heart of downtown, as well the region's finest engineering and
